We, at Head Office, are absolutely ecstatic and very proud that four, yes, FOUR members of our wonderful care team have been shortlisted for the Lincolnshire Care Awards 2022! These awards have been designed to recognise and celebrate the amazing work that cares staff, teams, and organisations from across Lincolnshire do, and we are delighted to announce that the four finalists from the St Philips Care Group, this year are: Anne Fuller, Karen Aslin, Jo Garrett, and Jemma Whiteside.
Anne, who only joined Welbourn Manor Care Centre in 2021, was nominated for the Registered Managers category along with Karen from The Grove in Skellingthorpe, who has worked for the company for over 20 years. Both managers have worked tirelessly to support their staff members and the staff of their sister homes across the Lincolnshire area, and continually ensure their teams and the residents at their homes are supported and cared for.
In the Behind the Scenes category, the wonderful Jo Garrett from Roxholm Hall is a finalist. Jo has been an administrator at Roxholm for 11 years and say’s she’s rather nervous but very excited to be nominated for the award.
Also at Roxholm Hall, Jemma Whiteside is a finalist in the Rising Star category. Jemma started on a placement from the ‘Young People’s Learning Provision’ working three days a week at Roxholm and studying her NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care. She was awarded ‘Outstanding Work Experience Placement of the Year’ earlier this year and is now working full-time at the home she loves.
All four finalists will attend the awards ceremony on Thursday, March 30th, 2023 at the Double Tree by Hilton and we wish them all the very best of luck! Lincolnshire Care Awards, Celebrating the Best in Care in Lincolnshire since 2016.
