Keeping safe
Many of our residents live in our care homes to keep them safe. We hold the safety of our residents at the core of all that we do. From ensuring that the care they receive is given according to their requirements, to making sure that the environment is safe for their needs. All that we undertake is to promote the safety and well-being of our residents.
The environment plays a large part in keeping residents safe. The majority of our care homes are in beautiful buildings that have been sympathetically altered to provide homes for our residents. The adjustments that we make to our buildings are to provide extra security and safety measures for our residents. From ensuring that stairs are safe, to reducing trip hazards in their room, our dedicated estates team works tirelessly to maintain a safe environment for our residents.
We carry out thorough risk assessments on all our sites, ensuring that all tests and checks are up to date, and we are compliant with all areas of legislation surrounding the safety of our residents. From fire alarm audits to emergency lighting, every area of our homes is scrutinised to uphold the safety of our residents at all times.
We have a head office estate team who are responsible for ensuring that all our homes are safe and compliant and that any alterations to legislation are acted upon swiftly to maintain our high standards. We pride ourselves on our well-maintained buildings, that are tactfully designed to enable our residents to live in these glorious homes, whilst remaining safe at all times.
Whilst we ensure that all our residents are safe, we also have their happiness at the forefront of all that we do. Care homes are a wonderful place to live, helping to combat the inherent loneliness of old age. Every moment from breakfast in the morning, to afternoon games, we strive to fill with joy and special moments. Life in a care home will keep your loved ones safe, while also enabling them to enjoy themselves.
