A real home has as much personality as the people who live there. That’s why we’ve made Highlands a place you’d be proud of and happy to live in – just as you would your own home.
Situated in a quiet neighbourhood in the parish of St Saviour, with great access to local amenities, Highlands Care Home is a unique home near to the island’s capital.
There are two buildings that make up the Highlands complex – our residential home, and Bon Air Court, comprising 18 self-contained residential apartments. Highlands also has a beautiful dining room with a vaulted ceiling, a coffee lounge, library, activities and TV lounges and two assisted bathrooms with spa baths.
We offer a person-centred approach that is delivered through quality care, recreation and activities, and food and dining.
It is our policy to modernise, refurbish and introduce new additions to each home we acquire, bringing to all, the high standards of facilities we demand. All our homes have plans in progress to introduce new adaptations and enhancements. Whether our homes are purpose-designed, or historic country houses which have been at the heart of local communities for decades, the safety, comfort and well being of our residents is paramount in our development programme. Inside our homes we pay great attention to the opinion of our residents, to ensure, the choice of our interior design creates a warm and welcoming environment.

OUR QUALITY OF CARE
At St Philips Care we give people a sense of place and somewhere they really love to live, making each of our homes fun, friendly and comfortable places to be.
As a group of professional carers, we specialize in the health and well being of people from all walks of life and all ages, and take enormous pride in the high levels of care that we deliver.
Our homes offer a range of support for adult and elderly people whether that is for residential, dementia, mental health or respite care. We pride ourselves on our experienced, highly trained teams which include carers, support staff, and registered nurses and the group offers all of our teams the resources to meet our residents’ daily needs.
PERSONALISED CARE PLANS
St Philips Care focuses each and every care plan on the individual, taking into consideration their personal requirements and tastes.
We take time out to know and understand our residents even before they move in, not only by talking to them but also by including their family and friends during their stay to make sure that we have the best possible plan tailored to each individual.
We consider not only care aspects but also personal interests, social life, working life, and companionships. Special consideration is given to their personal space and bedroom, their favourite meals and dinner choices, understanding, monitoring and developing a personal care plan and generally keeping good channels of communication with family and friends at all times.
