Care Home Rotherham Overview

Set in the heart of the community, Dearne Valley Care Centre is a cosy, comfortable sanctuary for its residents. The range of facilities include a chiropodist, hairdresser, pulse exercise, dementia dogs and regular pub lunches, which are a firm favourite. The town of Rotherham offers a variety of exploring and sightseeing opportunities for residents and their visitors. Wentworth Garden Centre is a wonderful, 16-acre expanse of greenery and flora to explore or simply admire from the warmth of the restaurant. A short drive away from the Care Home in Rotherham is the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife and Falconry Centre; a fantastic place to spend a day making memories. Alternatively, take a trip down memory lane at the National Emergency Services Museum, home to thousands of exhibits, 26 exhibition areas and 45 old-fashioned vehicles.

At St Philips Care we give people a sense of place and somewhere they really love to live, making each of our homes fun, friendly and comfortable places to be.

As a group of professional carers, we specialize in the health and well being of people from all walks of life and all ages, and take enormous pride in the high levels of care that we deliver.

Our homes offer a range of support for adult and elderly people whether that is for residential, dementia, mental health or respite care. We pride ourselves on our experienced, highly trained teams which include carers, support staff, and registered nurses and the group offers all of our teams the resources to meet our residents’ daily needs.

St Philips Care focuses each and every care plan on the individual, taking into consideration their personal requirements and tastes.

We take time out to know and understand our residents even before they move in, not only by talking to them but also by including their family and friends during their stay to make sure that we have the best possible plan tailored to each individual.

We consider not only care aspects but also personal interests, social life, working life, and companionships. Special consideration is given to their personal space and bedroom, their favourite meals and dinner choices, understanding, monitoring and developing a personal care plan and generally keeping good channels of communication with family and friends at all times.
