Burntwood Hall Care Centre
Surrounded by rich greenery and gardens, Burntwood Hall Care Centre is an 18th century Manor House, found in the village of Brierley Common nearby Barnsley. The activities co-ordinator keeps an updated programme of motivational games and interesting activities, including bingo, beetle drive and crafting sessions, to keep residents occupied and active. The exciting entertainment schedule features singalongs and visits from musicians and entertainers, while their regular day trips involve visiting the theatre, garden centres and even the seaside. Nearby Cannon Hall Museum is a great place to explore. Set in 70 acres of pretty parkland and gardens, it’s a lovely day out for residents and their visitors. Elsecar Heritage Centre, a beautiful 18th century conservation village, is also a unique attraction, which will take visitors back to a bygone era.

OUR QUALITY OF CARE
At St Philips Care we give people a sense of place and somewhere they really love to live, making each of our homes fun, friendly and comfortable places to be.
As a group of professional carers, we specialize in the health and well being of people from all walks of life and all ages, and take enormous pride in the high levels of care that we deliver.
Our homes offer a range of support for adult and elderly people whether that is for residential, dementia, mental health or respite care. We pride ourselves on our experienced, highly trained teams which include carers, support staff, and registered nurses and the group offers all of our teams the resources to meet our residents’ daily needs.
PERSONALISED CARE PLANS
St Philips Care focuses each and every care plan on the individual, taking into consideration their personal requirements and tastes.
We take time out to know and understand our residents even before they move in, not only by talking to them but also by including their family and friends during their stay to make sure that we have the best possible plan tailored to each individual.
We consider not only care aspects but also personal interests, social life, working life, and companionships. Special consideration is given to their personal space and bedroom, their favourite meals and dinner choices, understanding, monitoring and developing a personal care plan and generally keeping good channels of communication with family and friends at all times.
